Lorna Rodriguez-Rodriguez, MD, PhD, Vice Chair of Faculty Development at City of Hope, is among 21 women leaders in the nation who were invited to join the Carol Emmott Fellowship Class of 2021, a 14-month program for “exceptional, innovative women leaders who are making lasting change in their communities and institutions.”

For more than 30 years, Dr. Rodriguez-Rodriguez has stood out as a leader in gynecologic oncology. Specializing in ovarian cancer, her research focuses on the role of CD44 in cancer progression. She is part of a leadership team at City of Hope that strives to enhance the institution’s already diverse, equitable, and inclusive culture.
