Florida Cancer Specialists Welcomes Nalini Hasija, MD

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute have announced that medical oncologist/hematologist Nalini Hasija, MD, has joined the statewide practice, which encompasses a network of nearly 100 locations. Dr. Hasija will be seeing patients at the Tampa Cancer Center.

Professional Training

Dr. Hasija earned her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. She completed her internal medicine residency and was named Chief Resident at the University of South Florida, H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute in Tampa. After her residency, Dr. Hasija was awarded a fellowship in medical oncology/hematology and was elected as Chief Fellow at the University of Florida, Gainesville.

As a cancer researcher, Dr. Hasija is actively engaged in a variety of clinical investigations and has been published in several peer-reviewed journals. She has been working for Florida Cancer Specialists as a medical oncology and hematology hospitalist at Tampa General Hospital and St. Joseph Hospital for the past 2.5 years, providing continuity of care for patients at Florida Cancer Specialists who were admitted to the hospital.
