Rebecca C. Yang, MD
BREAST SURGEON Rebecca C. Yang, MD, has joined Atlantic Breast Associates at Overlook Medical Center and Carol G. Simon Cancer Center, part of Atlantic Health System Cancer Care, in New Jersey. Dr. Yang is a board-certified general surgeon and fellowship-trained breast surgeon. She joins Atlantic Breast Associates from her role as Director of the Comprehensive Breast Health Center at Lahey Medical Center in Massachusetts.
Clinical Interests
DR. YANG’S clinical interests include the full range of surgical procedures to treat breast cancer. She will work closely with a multispecialty oncology team at the Carol G. Simon Cancer Centers of Overlook Medical Center and Morristown Medical Center.
Dr. Yang is is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. She has expertise in advanced surgical procedures including sentinel lymph node biopsies and nipple sparing mastectomies. She also has a strong interested in the role of integrative therapy in the management and subsequent survivorship care planning for women with a diagnosis of breast cancer. Dr. Yang graduated magna cum laude from Princeton University and attended the University of Maryland School of Medicine to attain her medical degree. Dr. Yang performed her fellowship in Breast Surgery at Case Western Reserve University. ■
