The ASCO Annual Meeting, which will be held June 3–7, 2016, in Chicago, brings together more than 30,000 oncology professionals from around the world to learn about and discuss the latest therapies, treatment modalities, research, and controversies in the field. Attendees are able to personalize their meeting experience by choosing from a wide variety of session types and topics.
Ticketed sessions, including Meet the Professor (MTP) and Clinical Problems in Oncology (CPO), give attendees the opportunity to interact with experts and focus their learning in an intimate setting.
Meet the Professor Sessions
MTP Sessions enable interactive discussion between attendees and recognized experts in a variety of subspecialty fields. The format is informal, with an emphasis on a face-to-face exchange with the expert, and sessions are limited to 75 attendees to allow for ample networking time.
2016 MTP Sessions include:
Clinical Problems in Oncology Sessions
CPO Sessions combine case-based panel discussions with real-time audience participation. Attendees submit responses to questions based on real-world scenarios using keypads, enabling them to interact with session content and immediately gauge their own understanding of content.
2016 CPO Sessions include:
As a ticketed session attendee, you’ll receive exclusive access to eCPO on ASCO.org. eCPO content will include the slides, audio, and audience participation results from each CPO session.
Adding the Ticketed Session Package to your Annual Meeting registration is the only way to gain access to these specialized sessions. The package includes preregistration for one CPO or MTP session, admission to any CPO or MTP session if seats remain 5 minutes after the scheduled start time, the ability to purchase additional tickets for an unlimited number of sessions, and access to online content from each CPO session after the meeting.
Early registration is encouraged, as attendance in these sessions is limited. The Ticketed Session Package is $70 for ASCO members and $85 for nonmembers before May 20. Additional tickets can be purchased for $25 (ASCO members) or $35 (nonmembers).
