The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society recently announced that its Canadian affiliate, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada, has named Shelagh Tippet-Fagyas as its new President.
Ms. Tippet-Fagyas will lead the Canadian Society in its efforts to find cures and ensure access to therapies for all patients with blood cancer in Canada. She will be working with the Board of Directors.
Most recently Ms. Tippet-Fagyas was a consultant for UrbanKinistics Consulting Group, where she provided strategy and fundraising counsel in the social service, health, and education sectors. ■
