Nora A. Janjan, MD, MPSA, MBA

Nora Janjan, MD, MBA, MPSA, is retired Professor of Radiation Oncology from the University of Texas-M. D. Anderson Cancer Center. Her specialty areas include medicine, radiation oncology, health-care policy, regulatory affairs, strategy, and marketing.

Dr. Janjan's expertise includes the conduct of clinical trials, health-care workforce shortage, and access to health care. Dr. Janjan's additional expertise includes homeland security with contacts to the Integrative Center for Homeland Security at Texas A&M University. She has served as a reviewer for the National Cancer Institute Centers for Medical Countermeasures against Radiation, Special Emphasis Panel.

Dr. Janjan is past-President of the American Society for Therapeutic Radiation and Oncology. She is active in the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) where she has served in various capacities including The ASCO Cancer Foundation Board of Directors. Dr. Janjan's appointments include the Medicare Coverage Advisory Committee and the Advisory Board to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, 2004-2010.

Dr. Janjan received her medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine, her MBA degree from Rice University - Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Management, and her MPSA degree from Texas A&M University.
